Best Energy Snack for Hiking

**This post is sponsored by Babbleboxx. All opinions are my own.

The most important part of my busy day is when I can go out for a hike. It's a time I can work on my health and also get away from the hustle and bustle of life. I'm lucky to live less than a mile from an amazing mountain that is about a 30 minute hike round trip. An early hike is what I prefer, especially during the hot Phoenix summers. I pack up some water and a high energy snack. My snack bar of choice are the NatureValley™ Packed™ sustained energy bars.

The NatureValley™ Packed™ sustained energy bars come in two delicious flavors, Peanut Butter & Cranberry and Almond Butter & Blueberry. Peanut Butter & Cranberry which is made with creamy peanut butter, crunchy roasted peanuts, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds as well as chewy cranberries. Almond Butter & Blueberry is made with creamy almond butter, crunchy almonds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds as well as chewy blueberries. What sets these bars apart from the rest is the creamy and chewy texture. If you're like me, I dislike dry bars that fall apart into crumbs. I love how these bars give me a boost of energy at the end of my hike and keeps me going for the rest of the morning.

In addition to a great energy bar for hikes, these bars have also been my "mid-afternoon slump" booster. I dislike coffee in the afternoon because it can cause me to get to jittery but the NatureValley™ Packed™ sustained energy bars are a perfect pick me up. I usually get pretty busy in the afternoon because I'm grinding through work. I then pick up my toddler who requires a lot of my attention and energy. These bars are a great alternative to caffeine and give you the energy you need to make it through your busy day.

If you're a hiker or a busy working mom like me, these NatureValley™ Packed™ sustained energy bars are your answer to long-lasting energy. These bars are available for purchase here.
