How to Fight Dry Skin in the Winter

What is your most irritating skin issue in the winter?!?! In my case, it’s dry skin. My heels get cracked, elbows feel rough, hands never feel hydrated and my lips get flaky. My daily lotion can only cover so much. So when La Isha contacted me to try their product I couldn’t wait to see if their product would solve this issue.

I don’t know about you but I always forget to hydrate in the winter. In the summer, I’m drinking water like it’s nobody’s business. So in consequence to this, I get severe dry skin in areas such as my elbows, feet, legs, hands and lips.

As I discussed before, I needed something heavy duty because my everyday lotion wasn’t cutting it. I’ve been using La Isha Heavenly Hydration: Whipped Chocolate Body Butter for a couple of weeks and I honestly can say I have a new favorite. It's a nutrient rich, non-water based lotion. It's made with organic plan butters and essential oils that melt on contact with your skin. The product promises to relieve dryness and prevents it from returning.

For the last two weeks, the weather in Phoenix has dropped 20 degrees. And my skin has suffered because of this. I started using La Isha body butter and have seen a vast improvement in dryness. I do have to warn you, the butter is quite oily when it melts on your skin but it soaks into your skin quickly. I'm not a big fan of the chocolate scent, which is a personal preference. The scent doesn't linger so your safe if chocolate is not your thing.

Overall, I think this product is excellent and does a good job at relieving severe dryness. I would recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin and severe dryness.

**Thank you to La Isha for providing the product to review. All opinions are my own.
