My stay at the AC Hotel Tempe

I'm hoping all of you recovered well from your Labor Day Weekend! I had a baby shower hangover all day yesterday so I laid around watching movies and basically ate all the leftovers. The shower was so amazing and I felt so blessed! A full write up of the event will be premiering soon on the blog. Stay tuned!

A few weeks ago, the hubby and I were offered a one night stay at the AC Hotel in Tempe, Arizona. It was perfect timing since we desperately needed a baby moon getaway. Tempe is only 25 minutes driving time from us but we still felt like it was miles away from the hustle and bustle of reality.

When you walk through the glass doors, you are immediately greeted by the front desk. The design is sleek, modern and super chic. To the left of the lobby is a well stocked yet minimalist store where you can get yummy chocolates and snacks. You can also purchase a full bottle of wine for those of you looking for a fun night in. The hotel is located steps away from the lively college area of Downtown Phoenix.

The Room and Hotel

AC Hotel Tempe opened it's doors 14 months ago and has 155 rooms. The hotel features include a rooftop pool, fitness center, tapas lounge, breakfast kitchen and pet friendly rooms. The entire hotel has a European, minimal, luxury and modern look. We stayed in a double queen size room and the view was of Tempe Town Lake. We loved the minimal decor of the room and especially loved the open glass shower. We are big coffee drinkers so we also loved the in-room coffee maker.

The Rooftop Pool

You can't beat the rooftop view of this hotel. It overlooks the A Mountain on the south side and Tempe Town Lake on the other. The deck has individual lounge chairs and patio sets for larger groups. The hubby and I took a dip on Saturday night and enjoyed looking up at the Tempe skyline.

AC LOUNGE

I was definitely looking forward to eating at the AC lounge. I am not a big dinner person so their offering of tapas was up my alley. And it was extremely delicious and satisfying. Our favorite was the chicken dish. The sauce was sweet and tasty.

AC Kitchen

Before checking out on Sunday, we decided to have breakfast at AC Kitchen. It's a European style continental breakfast that included an array of fruits, cheeses, greek yogurt, French croissants, egg tarts, Nespresso coffee, and juices.

We truly had such a nice weekend and it was a great little getaway. Thank you so much AC Hotel for having us! You can follow them on instagram here.

**Our stay was sponsored along with meals. All words and opinions are my own.
