Hush Lash Studio Review
If there is one complaint in life that I have on the daily, it's not having enough TIME. Time is important these days because I tend to run out of it. Eyelash extensions are a TIME saver. It has honestly cut my time in the morning by five minutes (Yes, five minutes makes a difference). My lashes are short, sparse and don't have curl. I spend lots of time curling/mascara applying and 5 minutes later they are stick straight and the mascara is basically all over my skin (aka raccoon eyes). So annoying, am I right? I've had eyelash extensions in the past and loved them. Recently, Hush Lash Studio in North Scottsdale contacted me to try out their services. I said sign me up and this is what happened.
The owner, Wendy Whitman, contacted me by email and I was able to make an appointment with ease. She also sent me a few tips on how to prepare for my first lash application. As soon as you walk into the studio, you notice the cool, glam and chic decor. Wendy greets everyone with a smiling face and offers you a beverage almost immediately. At my first appointment, I was asked to fill out a questionnaire and given a look book to view the different types of lashes they provided. I was then greeted by stylist, Joanna Rodgers, who went through the questionnaire with me and asked what type of look I was interested in. I went with the volume lashes. I was then escorted to the table and she got started. Joanna was friendly and professional. She made sure I was comfortable and we chatted for most of the 2 hours. Please keep in mind that initial application can take 1.5-2 hours. At the end, you check out with the lovely Wendy and you have the option to purchase the lash builder and makeup remover. I have been using both for the last three weeks and they have been amazing products. I was also able to interview the lovely owner, Wendy Whitman.
Introduce Yourself
My name is Wendy Whitman, I'm the owner of The New Hush Lash Studio in the McDowell Mountain Ranch Area located off Thompson Peak and Bell. I have resided in the McDowell Mountain Ranch area for 14 Years and have been in the Beauty Industry for 30+ years. I have always loved this community and knew one day I would have some sort of business that was beauty related in the area.
How did you get started in this business?
I have had the pleasure of working with many Entrepreneurs, one of which was a client of mine in the Canadian Market named Mat Rockey. Mat started the Hush Lash Studio concept 5 years ago and has since grown his market, as I toured his studios and introduced his concept to other business owners in the US I became very interested and passionate about what he was doing and wanted to be a part of and bring to Scottsdale. I'm very excited to say Hush Lash Studio in Scottsdale Arizona is the very first US Location and my dream would be to have multiple locations.
How does Hush Lash Studio set apart from the rest? In other words, what type of experience do you want your clients to have?
When a client comes to visit us at Hush Lash Studio they will more than likely be Greeted by myself as I'm a very hands on owner and in my studio almost every day to assist my Stylists in whatever they need and more importantly get to know our clients. All of the Stylists are Licensed Estheticians who go thru extensive certification, hush approved training, we ensure the stylists application is absolute perfection before they provide any service to our clients and we continue to provide ongoing support to help them advance with Hush Lash. Clients will notice the studio is an open, fun environment with great music playing. We have clients who come in to relax or catch up with their stylists as we have built personal relationships with our clients, mothers and daughters, sisters, friends come to celebrate a day together, and we will be hosting private parties for all kinds of celebrations such as wedding parties, bachelorette, prom, homecoming groups. In June I will have a Make-up Artist who will be offering Complimentary Makeovers to each and every client as we have an exclusive Collection of Hush Makeup that’s Lash Extension Friendly and ALL Products are oil free. Every client has a consultation with a stylist to achieve the perfect look they desire, as we offer different lengths, curls, colors, and thickness/fullness, whether natural or dramatic we have the look the client will enjoy.

We have an introductory offer to all new clients, $79.00 for a Full Classic Set of Lashes, We also have a membership for our clients the cost is $9.99 a month, this entitles our clients to member pricing, so a classic re-lash would be $39.99, our members also receive 15% off any products and we have a referral program, refer 5 friends and receive a re-lash free.
